Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you accept my health insurance?
I am only in-network with Aetna insurance (NY only). I am considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurances.

2. Is it possible to see you if you do not accept my health insurance?
Yes! While I am not in network with any health insurance plans, some plans include out-of-network benefits for mental health services. If so, you can be eligible to receive reimbursement of our weekly sessions. Upon your request, I can provide proper documentation (Superbills) weekly or monthly that contains all the information needed to be able to receive reimbursement from your insurance company. Some health insurance plans offer up to 60-80% reimbursement.
Please make sure to contact your health insurance plan prior to scheduling an appointment to know the reimbursement percentage you are entitled to. Some questions you might ask include:
-
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
-
Is there an annual deductible that I need to meet first?
-
Do I need preauthorization?

What percentage do you cover for out-of-network mental health providers?
